Book Review: What Color Is Your Parachute? 2016: A Practical Manual for Job-Hunters and Career-Changers

I decided to do a review on  What Color Is Your Parachute?2016: A Practical Manual for Job-Hunter and Career-Changers by Richard N. Bolles because I will be entering the job market soon and needed an updated book on getting a job. Below is my review.

This is a great updated book for people who are looking either for a new job, career change or who been out of the workforce for a few years. I like the exercises in the book for finding your dream career. I like how the author helps a person with interviewing questions and how to read in between the lines at what an employer wants.

What I didn't like was when the author said everyone in the world is disabled. No, not everyone is. There are tons of people with invisable disabilities that have trouble getting jobs. Another thing I didn't like was the fact that towords the end of the book had a religious chapter. I skipped that chapter. Otherwise this is a great book for for job hunters to read.

I got this book from Blogging For Book in exchange for an honest review.
